In northwestern Italy along the rugged Ligurian coastline, Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages. In each of the five towns, colorful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces, below which fishing boats gather in the village harbors.

This was one of the first arts quilts I ever made, based loosely on my impression of Cinque Terre.
