In a full life, some years are more challenging than others. After a period of family illness, teenager troubles, a full-time job and graduate school….I was depressed and burnt out, and I took a break. This quilt attempts to express how being outdoors and making quilts revived me after a particularly demanding and debilitating period.

Materials/process:  Commercial and hand-dyed cotton, polyester organza.  Pieced and appliqued.
